Co-founder and National Head Coach, Kam comes back to CEVA for his sixth year after spending the summer playing in the AVP Professional Beach Tour for Professional Beach Volleyball. Coach Kam played club for NVVA, Maryland Volleyball Academy, and Tampa Bay Invaders VBC. Throughout his playing career, Coach Kam also played in the USA pipeline and has been on and trained with the National Team through High Performance, leading to him playing Professionally around the globe. During his collegiate experience at Juniata College, he and his team were National Championship Runner-Up. While attending Juniata, Coach Kam served as the Student Assistant Coach for the Women’s Team, worked as a coach for Gold Medal Squared (GMS), and has coached numerous college program camps, giving him the knowledge and experience of some of the best coaches in the country. He coached for Velocity Volleyball Club for 3 years at all age groups and acted as the club's Assistant Technical Director and Individual Strength/Conditioning Coach. With this being his 6th year with CEVA, he has assisted more than 40 graduates, receiving financial aid from their respective collegiate programs, and is noted as our Recruiting Coordinator as well as our Technical Director, giving him the opportunity to work with all of our teams and coaches, and continuing to grow the game! He is currently the Coach at Old Mill High School. He was previously the Varsity Head Coach for Dr. Henry Wise High School, Bishop McNamara High school and Assistant Coach at Division I, Delaware State University. Coach Kam is IMPACT and SafeSport certified.
Going into her 2nd year coaching with CEVA and 5th year coaching. Jordyn has returned from college at Florida State University, where they were a well-known referee and coached for Tallahassee Volleyball Academy and was the Lead Coach (at age 20). Last year, Jordyn coached the 15 Black team here at CEVA.
Outside of coaching, Jordyn has been playing volleyball for 15 years now. Spending 2 years at Broadneck High School as a setter, in the one year on Varsity ranked among the top three players in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia for total assists with 287 (7.4 assists per set). Finished their high school volleyball career at Old Mill High School, with All-Metro and All-County honors and being the runner-up Gatorade Player of the Year for Maryland. Outside of high school volleyball, Coach Jordyn was on USAV High Performance team, CHRVA High Performance team, and was invited to the USA High Performance Holiday Camp as on of the top 50 players in the nation.
With 10 years of club experience at Velocity Volleyball Club and CEVA. Jordyn went on to play at University of West Alabama and Radford University as a Setter. Now, continuing to play professionally on the Beach and Grass circuits in addition to coaching.
As a veteran coach, with over 25 years coaching. she has coached high school, club, and Division I college volleyball.
Coach Beth has spent most of her years coaching at Broadneck HS, 1998-2009. While there, they won 7 regional titles, made 9 appearances in the 4A State Finals and Won the Maryland States title 5 times.
When Coach Beth left Broadneck, she went on to coach Division I volleyball at Collin State University as the assistant coach from 2010-2013.
In the off-season away from high school and college, Coach Beth started running a volleyball club and coaching the traveling teams 2003-2021. She started with Chesapeake Smack Down to Velocity Volleyball Club, and now CEVA. Through the years of coaching club her teams have been competing at the highest level, and went on to college to continue their volleyball careers.
Coach Bethany enters her fifth year coaching with CEVA. Over the past 5 years, coach Bethany has spent time as the 16s assistant coach in 2015, co-head coach to the 16s team in 2016 and then became the head coach for our 17s team in 2017 and 2018. This year, coach Bethany will be our head Coach for the 15s team. Coach Bethany played as a Libero for Velocity Volleyball Club for three years and was a member of the Archbishop Spalding High School volleyball team for four years. She continued her volleyball career at the collegiate level at Division II school, Flagler College of Saint Augustine Florida, where she also competed in a beach league. Coach Bethany is currently in her 7th year at Old Mill High School as the Head Varsity volleyball Coach. Coach Bethany is IMPACT, CPR, Care & Prevention, and SafeSport Certified.
Coach Wendy has spent 20 plus years coaching multiple sports including Basketball, Tennis, Soccer and of course Volleyball.
Coach Wendy began playing volleyball in high school and continued playing at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. She loves the sport and loves working with the girls to not only grow as players but as people. She is very competitive and strives to help our players find their competitive edge.

Coach Chrissy is entering her second year of coaching with CEVA. She has been playing volleyball for over 10 years and has competed at the highest level of collegiate volleyball. She was a captain of both her high school team (Bowie High School) and club team (CEVA) where she played as a Middle and Opposite Hitter. While at BHS, Coach Chrissy helped lead her team to win two 4A South Regional Titles and advance two consecutive years to the Maryland State 4A Championship Semifinals. She continued her volleyball career at the Division I level at the University of New Orleans where she redshirted and spent her freshman season learning at the highest level. The following year, she transferred to Western New Mexico University where she competed in the toughest conference in Division II volleyball. After graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, Coach Chrissy returned home to Maryland and joined Bowie State University's volleyball team to finish her volleyball career and receive a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. She completed her final season atop the leaderboard in aces and blocks, and third in kills. In addition to coaching with CEVA, Coach Chrissy is also an Assistant Coach at Bowie High School.
This is Casey’s 5th season coaching club volleyball and her 2nd season with CEVA.
As a coach's kid, Casey has spent most of her life in a gym. She played for a local club team for her 12s-18s seasons and attended Catonsville High School where she was a starter on varsity all four years. Casey was named second team all-county her freshman year and first team all-county her sophomore, junior, and senior year. Casey was named MVP of her high school team for both her junior and senior seasons. Additionally, she was placed on the all-metro team during her senior season. Casey was captain on all six of her club teams and during two of her four seasons at Catonsville High. Casey played at the D1 level for three of her four collegiate seasons. She spent her first two seasons at the University of North Florida where she played both indoor and beach volleyball. As a freshman she was made captain and was named to the all-freshman team. Casey played her third collegiate season at Towson University and finished her career playing for three time Olympian Caren Kemner at Culver Stockton College.
In 2020, Casey graduated with her masters degree in clinical psychology and is now a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC). Casey is passionate about mind-body connection and the positive impact sports psychology can have on young athletes growth, development, and performance. Coach Casey is IMPACT and SafeSport certified.
Coach Aaron is from Columbia, Maryland. With 8 years of playing volleyball under his belt, he played indoor volleyball for Towson University’s Men’s Club Volleyball team and still plays. This will be his first season with CEVA, Aaron is super excited to learn and grow the love of volleyball to these young athletes.
Coach Nora is excited to be starting her second year coaching with CEVA. She is coming off of her first season of coaching the JV team at Old Mill HS. Coach Nora played as a setter/Opposite Hitter for Bay Area Volleyball Academy for two years, and one year at each Velocity Volleyball Club and Maryland Juniors Volleyball Club. She played four years as a varsity starting setter at Annapolis High School. Nora continued her volleyball career recreationally while at college in Florida, and has been playing in multiple Howard County Co-Rec Volleyball Leagues for the past two years. Coach Nora is IMPACT and SafeSport certified.
